This week we are reviewing our understanding of numbers to 10. We have been singing counting songs, playing mixed up numbers games, and learning about how to recognize amounts by using the Numicon. Here, the children have to choose the correct size and shape that matches a number flashcard. This is a great way for them to visualize numbers and understand their value, as well as sort shapes and colours.
As part of our unit on 'Woodland Animals', we made our own animals from clay! We took a long time to shape, form, and use detail on our animals. After making them a home using real, natural materials from our playground, we made a little video. This was our first time using Lego Movie Maker on the iPads! We loved it. Check it out!
