This term, we are studying fairy tales. We read 'The Paper Bag Princess' by Robert Munsch, and thought about what we would change in the story if it was written by us!

We had a great time on our field trip to the park. We completed a nature scavenger hunt and found nearly everything on our list, including different insects, plants, flowers, and animals!  We even fed the ducks.

Even Teddy had a good time!

We have been using a variety of tools and formats to practice our reading and writing.   Nicha and Japan are using cotton buds in a tray of paint to practice writing their tricky words.
The girls are learning to blend new words on the iPad.

Hong Kong enjoys using the Phonics app that helps him learn how to spell new words and rewards him with a fun animation.

Ryan knows the word book has a short 'oo' sound!
Sky and Finn are practicing their tricky word writing on tin foil with whiteboard markers. It makes a fun sound when they write.
