Show & Tell and Star of the Week!

Last week Arya brought in her special fire truck to show us for Show & Tell!
It made sounds, has a ladder, and even sprays real water from the hose! We were so excited to hear Arya talk about why it's her favourite toy (because it's red), where she got it from (her Daddy), and how to take care of it (only spray the water outside).
Thank you, Arya!

Last Friday, Anya was Star of the Week. She earned this for making such a great effort contributing in phonics lesson, showing that she is an effective communicator. Well done, Anya!

Last week the fire brigade came to visit our school! We were so lucky to be able to learn about how to protect ourselves from fires and gas leaks.
The firemen were very brave and showed us many things, including how to use the fire hose! We got to go inside the fire truck and even wear the helmet!

Take a look!

Cara and Baiboon enjoyed sitting in the fire truck!
We practiced fire safety by walking calmly in a line when we heard the siren.

Show & Tell

Today was our first day of 'Show and Tell', and we listened to Nicha talk about her favourite toy, a Mini Cooper car!
She told us that her favourite part is the flag on top, and she loves how it makes a sound when it goes!
Well done, Nicha!

Next week we will have Arya do Show and Tell!

Star of the Week!

Congratulations to Nicha who is our Star of the Week!
She was chosen for her effective communication skills as she always raises her hand to share her clever ideas.
Well done, Nicha!

Loy Krathong

Happy Loy Krathong!

Today we made our flower lanterns in Thai class and tested them in our splash pool ;)
We hope you have a lovely and reflective time for Loy Krathong!

Weekend with Bob!

Hello parents,

Starting this Friday, we will begin a weekly adventure where one student from our class will take home our class friend Bob.
Bob is a minion who loves to go on adventures, but he doesn't really eat many different foods, so we are trying to teach him to eat a variety of healthy foods and stay fit by keeping active!
You can take him anywhere: the beach, the mall, a friend's house, or just play in your garden!
We are trying to encourage the children to speak with more confidence and share their experiences with their classmates. Every Monday morning, the child who took Bob home over the weekend will show some photos of their time together and tell their classmates what they ate, where they went, and what their favourite activity was.

Here are some photos of Bob's adventures in previous years, most recently in Cairo!
